Current Volunteer Opportunities
In Victoria, Court Network holds two training intakes per year: one for metropolitan Melbourne and the other for regional Victoria. Queensland holds one intake per year per region, depending on court vacancies.
Court Network assesses applicants’ suitability for this role and all trainee volunteers need to successfully complete all training requirements, a police check and a Working with Children Check. Applicants need to be in a position to commit to at least one day a week for a period of 12 months or more. On completion of training volunteers are required to attend ongoing training and team meetings.
Each Court Networker must be a member of the Association. The joining fee is a once-off payment of $15 (GST inclusive). Only financial members are able to vote at Annual General Meetings, receive Board correspondence and memorandums and annual Financial Reports.
