Court Network 30th Birthday Celebrations
Melbourne
Court Network was founded 30 years ago by Carmel Benjamin AM. To celebrate on Monday 17th May over 160 volunteers, stakeholders and staff attended an evening at Government House in Melbourne.
Court Network would like to thank The Governor and Mrs de Kretser for being wonderful hosts. The Hon Rob Hulls MP Deputy Premier and Attorney-General and President of the Board, Barbara Rozenes spoke to the audience.
Court Network acknowledges all stakeholders, members, volunteers and staff for the contribution and involvement made to the organisation. This has assisted in the service being available to court users for 30 years.
Geelong
The first 30th year celebration was held in Geelong on Tuesday 16th March 2010.
The Geelong Court Network service has been operating for 25 years. The Regional Program Manager, Pauline Stewart has been volunteering since the service began which is a remarkable accomplishment.
Most networkers attended the celebration as well as local police, registry, barristers, solicitors and judges. A speech was made by Justice Ashley from the Supreme Court.
Court Network Board members, President Barbara Rozenes, Vice President Brian Barrow and Denise O’Shannassy attended.
