Court Network volunteers are provided with extensive training as
part of their induction into becoming a Networker.
To ensure their skills remain up to date and enable them to deal
with changes to policy and improvement in the court environment,
regular training is held. These monthly professional development
sessions attract leading legal, paralegal and social justice speakers.
Networkers' 2010 Continuous Education Program
All sessions are held at the Melbourne Family Court, Public Information Room, Lower Level, Cnr William & Latrobe Streets, Melbourne.

Please note that as per the new Volunteer Policy Booklet, volunteers with under five years experience will continue to accrue a minimum of three continuing education points in one year, and volunteers of over five years will accrue at least one.
From 2009 Court Network requires all volunteers to accrue continuing education points and any consequences of not doing so will be as per the Policy Booklet.
Volunteers can also accrue points by sourcing their own training / seminars / conferences if this is approved by their Program Manager, and the Annual Conference will also contribute one point.
